About the role

Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility. This job is HYBRID. FTE: 1.000000. Standard Hours: 40.00. Shift: Shift 1.

Responsibilities

To facilitate the pharmacy department's role in the participation in clinical drug trials by coordinating daily activities necessary for the preparation and dispensing of drug products and corresponding documentation. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a hospital pharmacy department including hazardous drug preparation training (preferred).
• Experience in a clinical setting (preferred).
• Completion of CITI and Good Clinical Practice Training within 1 month of hire.
• Completion of hazardous drug training within 1 month of hire.
• Application for Wisconsin registration as a Pharmacy Technician required by hire date and must be obtained within 12 months of hire (staff hired prior to 3/31/23 must have applied by 3/31/23 and have until 3/31/24 to obtain registration).
• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) via PTCE or ExCPT required within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an ASHP accredited pharmacy technician training program required.

Monday‑Friday shifts: 0700‑1530, 0730‑1600, 0800‑1630; no holidays.
