The Stryten factory in Salina, Kansas is one of the largest lead-acid battery manufacturing sites in North America with 800 employees capable of producing more than 35,000 quality batteries per day. These batteries can be found in your car, in your boat or RV, or, in your lawn and garden equipment. Stryten proudly supports the local community by regularly participating in Project Salina, the Salvation Army Angel Tree program, and providing more than 100 volunteers for the Smoky Hill River Festival. The Utility Inventory position will audit assigned, or designated areas in the plant, research and make necessary adjustments in JDE, to sustain inventory accuracy. Supervisors, floor personnel, and material handlers, as needed, for accurate JDE transactionsAssure production departments are complying with all procedures, as designated, regarding reconciliations and moving stock in the locatorFollow Lean Manufacturing procedures to include 5SComply with current Quality Systems requirementsParticipate as a Leader in the Physical InventoryAbility to interact effectively with all levels of personnel within the organizationPerform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or managementComputer, calculator, copier, and other general office equipment, and manliftHigh School diploma or GED equivalent preferredStrong computer and analytical skillsPrevious manufacturing experience preferred Physical Demands Sitting, standing, bending, twisting, reaching above head, and walking as necessary.Occasional lifting to 50 pounds.Personal protective equipment as required.This role requires you to be on site. Work Environment Manufacturing environment and will be exposed to various environment conditions (hot, cold, humid)
