Inventory Tech

About the role

We are adding an Inventory Tech to perform Cycle Counts daily. This is an essential position ensuring materials are handled in a safe and orderly manner to support timely fulfillment and delivery of products. This role also supports the inventory needs of operations and inventory records accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts of inventory on the production floor and in the warehouse(s).
• Verify inventory on stock outs and shortages.
• Ensure accuracy of inventory by researching variances, maintaining product storage locations, and monitoring material receiving and movement transactions.
• Maintain labeling for all physical spaces where material is stored (a place for everything and a label for every place).
• Load and unload pallets and cases to and from trucks, and collect empty pallet boards for storage.
• Process customer returns and assist in movements of returned material.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or similar position.
• Inventory and cycle counting experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills, organizational skills, dexterity, and attention to detail.
• Forklift experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency.
• Some experience in Excel and a respective ERP system preferred.
