Inventory Systems Specialist

Manages inventory transactions in SAP S/4HANA, ensuring accurate inventory data and seamless integration with third-party logistics (3PL) providers. Troubleshoots SAP iDoc and EDI issues while partnering with IT, supply chain, manufacturing, and logistics teams to keep inventory and warehouse operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Support inventory integrations between SAP, warehouse management systems (WMS), and third-party logistics (3PL) providers, resolving interface and transaction issues.
- Analyze inventory activity, investigate variances, and partner with warehouse, supply chain, IT, and logistics teams to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and support SAP system upgrades, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure master data accuracy, monitor system performance, and maintain compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and data integrity standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, commercial, and external logistics partners to support daily supply chain operations.
- Support ongoing inventory and supply chain optimization projects while providing operational support as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience supporting SAP environments, preferably SAP S/4HANA, including monitoring and troubleshooting SAP iDoc and EDI transactions.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, warehouse operations, supply chain processes, and third-party logistics (3PL) integrations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while collaborating effectively across teams and maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and basic financial concepts.
- Flexible to provide occasional after-hours support for critical inventory or system interface issues.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $65,250 - $94,250.
