Responsibilities
- Material Handling — Serialized Assets: Direct put‑away of serialized assets to assigned locations, ensuring system location matches physical location before release; pick against correct serial numbers; maintain 100% location accuracy and escalate any unlocated units; enforce chain‑of‑custody handling for all data‑bearing devices.
- Material Handling — Bulk and Commodity Material: Direct put‑away and picking of non‑serialized material (commodity streams, feedstock, packaging, consumables, palletized bulk); maintain accurate unit‑of‑measure, weight, and container‑level records; ensure segregation of commodity streams to prevent cross‑contamination.
- Location and Warehouse Integrity: Maintain facility location scheme (labeling, legibility, aisle and bin discipline, travel path clearance); keep staging areas cleared daily; identify and escalate capacity constraints, layout inefficiencies, and slotting opportunities.
- Cycle Count Program: Execute cycle count schedule per cadence and coverage plan; perform recounts and research discrepancies before escalation; submit variances for approval; maintain documentation and audit trail; identify root causes of recurring variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Supervision: Direct, schedule, and coordinate assigned warehouse personnel; cross‑train staff across put‑away, pick, and count functions; conduct daily task assignment and shift handoff communication; support performance management, coaching, and corrective action with Facility Manager and HR.
- Safety and Environmental: Enforce facility safety requirements (PPE, equipment operation, load stability, rack limits, aisle egress); verify equipment operator certifications; complete and escalate incident and near‑miss reporting; support compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 for material storage and handling.
- Compliance: Perform duties in conformance with Sprout’s QEHSMS and applicable R2v3 requirements; maintain documented traceability of material movement; follow work instructions and escalate unexecutable processes; support internal, customer, and certification body audits.
