About the role
Work closely with the Industrial Direction, Supply Chain, Pasadena warehouse and Finance teams to execute various maintenance inventory consolidation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Promote a safe work environment and take a leadership role in achieving zero accidents, lost time incidents or recordable incidents.
- Support Maintenance Inventory Management Specialist with the coordination of the transfer and logistics of inventory to the Pasadena warehouse.
- Assist with preparation for closure of satellite locations and coordinate with Industrial Direction closures in Maximo.
- Initiate, drive and participate in projects related to maintenance inventory.
- Ensure collection and updates of data; develop strategic solutions to bridge gaps in this data, drive efficiencies and support related projects aligned with business priorities.
- Determine what inventory should be considered as operating consumable and expensed (per existing procedure), kept at site and tracked outside of Maximo.
- Determine what maintenance inventory should be transferred to Pasadena Warehouse (per existing procedure) and tracked in Maximo.
- Engage with IT to implement any operating systems adjustments or additions (such as virtual warehouses).
- Evaluate and document spare parts physical inventory at satellite warehouses.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of item attributes.
- Identify duplicate and inaccurate data within operating systems (Maximo and Oracle).
- Work with Industrial Direction, Procurement, Finance teams and Suppliers to coordinate and execute data clean-ups.
- Create new or modify existing processes to improve accuracy, completeness and drive efficiency of collecting and maintaining inventory data.
- Register maintenance inventory in Maximo and Oracle as required.
- Develop, design, implement and maintain activity and status reports of progress, catalog management, KPIs and metrics, inventory related procedures, tools and training.
- Conduct and provide inventory analysis and assessment of its management procedures using various industry best practices and tools.
- Report progress to stakeholders, including plant management, corporate reliability management and supply chain management.

Requirements
- Education: College degree
- Experience: 7 years supply chain management or inventory/asset management in MRP systems with basic knowledge of maintenance planning or plant reliability processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Managing maintenance inventory/assets in Maximo.
