About the Role
The Inventory Specialist supports pharmacy operations by managing inventory, ensuring accurate prescription fulfillment, and providing excellent patient service. They lead and coach the pharmacy team in inventory management activities, follow Standard Operating Procedures, and maintain high inventory standards to prevent loss. The role involves overseeing medication deliveries, participating in physical inventories and cycle counts, and assisting with patient interactions such as immunizations and health services. They promote a safe, inclusive environment and comply with legal and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Support pharmacy workflow and inventory management
- Ensure prescription accuracy and safety
- Lead inventory activities and coach team members
- Deliver compassionate patient care

- Support immunizations and health services where applicable
- Oversee medication deliveries
- Participate in physical inventories and cycle counts
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Relevant state licensure
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs., remain mobile, and perform detailed tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- National certification
- 1-3 years of experience
