Inventory Specialist

About the role

The Inventory Specialist at Copart is responsible for managing the inventory of all vehicles at the facility, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.

Responsibilities

• Document vehicle condition using company tools and provide complete inventory and supporting photographs.
• Direct the flow of traffic in the receiving area to ensure timely processing of vehicle inventory.
• Facilitate the Copart experience by offering solutions to meet customer needs.
• Maintain and organize the receiving area.
• Operate camera and handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles.
• Determine operational capability of motor vehicles.
• Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles.
• Maintain inventory of all materials used.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
• General automotive knowledge/mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency, with the ability to operate handheld devices preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Driver's license preferred.
• Bilingual skill a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in inventory management or related field preferred.
