Inventory Specialist - 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Ensure all items in the warehouse are appropriately processed and stored
• Organize and perform the daily activity that relates to inventory in the warehouse with the inventory team and assure they are completed in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures
• Work directly with Inventory Control Analyst to investigate, research and address inventory issues and discrepancies
• Research and recount inventory discrepancies identified by the Inventory Control Analyst
• Cycle counts with the inventory team
• Available to provide support wherever needed to the warehouse team
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications/Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent years of experience required
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of related experience and/or training
• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
• Works under immediate supervision
• Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment
• Reports to a supervisor/manager
• Equivalent combination of experience and/or education may be considered
