About the role
The Inventory Lead at Far & Dotter Wellness Center & Spa is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Wellness Center's policies and procedures. This role involves assisting the Patient Care Advisers (PCAs) in training and leading them, while also contributing to sales excellence and maintaining a culture of compliance.
Responsibilities
- Assist with training the Patient Care Adviser (PCA) team.
- Lead the PCA’s through influence by following the policies, procedures, and codes of conduct.
- Promote a culture consistent with overall corporate parameters, including medicinal and clinical focus.
- Greet all guests, patients, peers, and vendors with warmth and a smile.
- Always go above and beyond to provide patients and guests with an elevated experience to ensure they leave "delighted."
- Learn the point-of-sale (POS) system and SOPs and execute processes accurately to ensure all transactions are correct and compliant.
- Understand daily, weekly, and seasonal promotions and sell product against these initiatives.
- Participate in staff sales initiatives.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Communicate with the Patient Care Advisor Leads and managers to identify popular products and report back to the Purchasing and Inventory Manager.
- Assess what product is on hand and determine what needs to be reordered.
- Build and maintain good vendor relationships.
- Organize and execute pop-up events for the store.
- Order products for the store.
- Conduct METRC investigations under the supervision of the Inventory Manager and Members of the Compliance Team.
- Receive deliveries of product, which includes receiving in the point-of-sale system (POS), creating barcodes for items or attaching Lucid’s, stickering necessary product, updating product lab results, and putting it away in the vault.
- Restock backstock of a product when necessary.
- Filing online orders as needed.
- Pick product from the vault for Patient Care Advisors and run product to the sales floor, either in person or through the pass-through windows, as needed.
- Communicate needs between the vault, receiving, and the sales floor as needed.
- Support the compliance-first culture at the Wellness Center by ensuring the center is always fully compliant.
- Follow compliance procedures to ensure all inventory activities follow IV1CA regulations and Far & Dotter SOPs.
- Keep accurate records of green waste products.
- Maintain compliance by executing proper inventory processes and procedures.
- Follow HlPAA guidelines.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Previous cannabis or inventory experience.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Team player who works well with others.
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite experience, especially in Excel.
- Ability to work normal retail hours (nights, weekends, and holidays).
- METRC Certification.
