Analyze Inventory Levels
Analyze inventory levels, inventory replenishment, planned production, and demand forecasts, to optimize service levels and customer satisfaction.
Develop and Maintain Inputs
- Develop and maintain inputs to the inventory system, including safety stock levels, lead-times, cost and delivery expectations, past and future seasonal events, and new product introductions.
Coordinate with Traffic, Production Planning, and Warehouse Personnel
- Cook up with traffic, production planning, and warehouse personnel to ensure the appropriate routing, timely scheduling, accurate receipt, and storage of goods.
Collaborate with Offer Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Field Sales, and Customers
- Collaborate with offer management, manufacturing, engineering, field sales, and customers, as needed to align demand with production and to anticipate future needs.
Generate Reporting
- Generate reporting that snapshots inventory and production needs, fulfillment performance, on-time delivery, and factory performance.
Qualifications
- 4-year college degree, preferably with a STEM focus and discipline
- 2-5 years experience in a warehousing or supply chain function
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Results-oriented with the desire to take the initiative and ownership of assigned tasks and projects and drive them to closure
- The ability to adapt, multi-task, and work under pressure, sometimes having to deal with tight deadlines and high demands
- Experience with MS Office, SAP, and Salesforce.com a definite plus
