About the role

The Pharmacy/Inventory Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the workflow of the hospital pharmacy department. The role involves ensuring the department operates efficiently, safely, and effectively to meet client/patient needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Microsoft Excel proficiency and above average computer skills
• Medical training or background preferred
• College degree or a licensed veterinary technician certification or human health care equivalent preferred
• Horse background or experiences valuable
• Basic accounting for Inventory Management desirable

Skills

• Familiarity with veterinary medical terminology and pharmaceutical intended uses
• Experience using software to analyze, manage, and maintain inventory counts
• Effective assistance to doctors, technicians, management, employees, and industry vendors
• Strong people skills and willingness to monitor and control assigned activities
• Written and oral communication skills
• Ability to analyze problems and set achievable goals
• A positive attitude and teamwork
