Inventory Operations Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist with the receiving, stocking, and issuing of materials
• Keep accurate records of all inventory transactions on a daily basis
• Maintain and monitor accurate inventory levels through inventory management and internal controls
• Interact with different departments across the Cooperative through completing and delivering orders to the correct parties in a timely manner
• Auxiliary support in other areas of the Financial Operations Department as needed

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a two or four year degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field of study and/or two years related Customer Service experience preferred
• Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or lift more than 50 pounds
• Perform moderate physical activity associated with routine duties of Supply department
• Knowledgeable working experience with MS products including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
• Must have a valid state driver's license with a good driving record

Qualifications

Self-motivated, strong organization skills, attention to detail, safety-minded, and team-player attitude.

Skills

Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and customer service experience.
