Inventory & Material Flow Specialist

About The Role

As an Inventory Control & Material Flow Specialist in our Small Modular Reactor (SMR) manufacturing facility, you will own inventory accuracy, material movement, and traceability across the facility. You will be the system owner responsible for ensuring accurate and controlled material flow across all stages of the internal manufacturing lifecycle. This role is ideal for a high-initiative, system-minded operator who identifies problems, builds structure, and takes responsibility for outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in inventory control, material control, or manufacturing operations.
• Hands-on ERP/WMS experience (e.g. ION, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Epicor) including inventory transactions and reconciliation.
• Ability to operate or obtain certification for forklifts
• Strong attention to detail with documentation, labeling, and serial/heat tracking.
• Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets) and ability to read BOMs, POs, and packing lists.

Preferred Experience

• In regulated, high-traceability industries (nuclear, aerospace, medical device, oil & gas).
• Familiarity with NQA-1 quality culture, MRB/quarantine processes, and receiving inspection workflows.
• Knowledge of hazmat/regulated shipping (DOT/IATA/IMDG) and export control basics (e.g., EAR/ITAR awareness).
• Ledger/5S experience; root cause and corrective action participation.
• OSHA forklift certification; basic rigging and load securement skills.
