Inventory Management Supervisor
About the role
This position is responsible for supporting all Stores inventory, people and processes. The key responsibility of this role is to supervise the assigned staff in carrying out Storage, Picking/Kitting, Cycle Counting, and Physical Inventory accuracy. Issue resolution, coverage scheduling and partnership building with Operations personnel are included in this role's responsibilities. The Stores Supervisor will provide weekly status updates and support efforts for continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Enter data for quantities of parts issued and transferred between locations, inventory and cycle count adjustments, into computer database.
- Correct inventory discrepancies and communicate corrective actions taken with manufacturing and inspection personnel.
- Supervise Stockroom team members and partner with the Materials Lead to support daily workload.
- Run, distribute and manage open Work Orders using the “Dispatch Report”
- Directs workflow, and work assignments to ensure kitting of Work Orders is keeping up with the demand from planning
- Process and coordinate replacement of non-conforming material
- Generate metric reports as scheduled
- Interface with manufacturing, engineering, quality, purchasing and management to provide timely status of work products and / or problem identification and resolution
- Put-away materials, maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Cycle counting and ensure cycle counts are performed 3 days per week
- Utilize the Company’s inventory tracking system, support ERP project
- Ensure that employees are qualified to work on assigned work and provides training (as required)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 10+ years inventory control experience and general business experience
- Demonstrated sense of urgency and desire/ability to see activities through to completion
- Training in general safety, supervisory sexual harassment prevention, electrostatic discharge awareness, foreign object damage awareness, quality system awareness
- Demonstrated organization skills
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills required for multi-faceted interactions with all levels of personnel including cross-functional stakeholders
- Computer literate, with MS Office/PC expertise, and demonstrated experience with applicable systems, programs, equipment, etc.

Pay
Pay Range: $74,600 - $90,000/year
Schedule
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are 8 hours, Monday through Friday. Overtime and weekend work are required, as job duties demand.
