About the role
The Inventory Management Coordinator focuses on the inventory management of Amneal's finished goods inventory related to distribution. This position is an integral part of the Logistics team, ensuring accurate details of on-hand inventory, in-transit inventory, cycle counts, coordination with the Return Goods Department, and managing product end-of-life cycles.
Responsibilities
- Run a series of inventory reports on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis and perform detailed analysis of items.
- Maintain communication with the Product Supply Chain department to ensure proper procedures are met on incoming product.
- Perform audits of inventory when requested.
- Perform inventory adjustments.
- Develop accurate, consistent enhancements to the inventory reporting structure.
- Identify ‘heavy’ and ‘low turn’ inventory items and coordinate consolidation programs to ensure fast and accurate distribution.
- Maintain item documentation, including tracking, adjusting, and destruction forms.
- Work in coordination with the Returns Department on an as-needed basis through inventory checks.
- Ensure accurate labels meet HDMA guidelines.
- Record all information required by DEA and Kentucky Board of Pharmacy pertaining to controlled substances in inventory for Kentucky facilities.
- Develop a strategy to ensure proper procedures are followed pertaining to unsaleable product.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED (required).
- 1 year or more of experience in Inventory Control, Supply Chain, or Distribution.
Skills
- JD Edwards experience (preferred).
- Forklift experience (preferred).
Pay
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $22.00 to $28.00 per hour. Amneal also offers a short-term incentive opportunity, such as a bonus or performance-based award, within the first 12 months.
