Inventory Lead - 3rd Shift

About the role

Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support 3rd shift inventory team members to achieve safety, quality, and operational goals.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory activities to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Cook up receiving, put-away, picking, and material staging activities to support production requirements.
• Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment while promoting a safety-first culture.
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions and records within ERP and warehouse management systems.
• Persistently partner with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that optimize inventory processes, improve efficiency, and reduce waste.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years of inventory control, warehouse, or materials management experience, including leadership or lead experience.
• Experience using ERP and Warehouse Management Systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• A strong understanding of inventory management principles, cycle counting, and inventory accuracy processes.
• A valid forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification, with experience operating material handling equipment.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently on an overnight shift.

Qualifications
