Inventory Cycle Counter – EBS

About the role

The Inventory Cycle Counter – EBS position at Legrand's Starline team in Uniontown, PA, is responsible for conducting regular cycle counts of inventory items, investigating discrepancies, and collaborating with team members to ensure accurate inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Conducts regular cycle counts of inventory items according to established schedules/direction from leadership.
• Utilizes handheld scanners or other inventory management tools to accurately record inventory levels.
• Investigates and resolves discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
• Aids in the reconciliation of inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or quality issues to management.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to facilitate efficient counting processes.
• Collaborates with other team members within inventory control/warehouse teams to ensure accurate inventory management practices.
• Adheres to all safety protocols and procedures at all times.
• Provides support during physical inventory audits and other inventory-related activities as needed.
• Continuously seeks opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency in counting processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably a warehouse or distribution environment, is strongly preferred.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using handheld scanners is preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work cohesively in a team environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours; overtime occasionally required.
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Must be a self-starter.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
