Inventory Cycle Counter
About the role
Reporting to the Inventory Manager, the Inventory Cycle Counter plans and conducts periodic inventory counts, adjusts quantities and locations, and records and reports discrepancies to management. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate plant inventory records and leveraging information systems, processes, and communication to help ensure the correct inventory and materials are in the right place at the right time.

Responsibilities
- Participate in investigating missing product.
- Complete cycle counts for packaging, ingredients, raw, and byproducts, maintaining and reporting inventory.
- Communicate low inventory levels to Inventory Manager.
- Partner with internal departments to coordinate product disposition for use or disposal.
- Maintain standard work for inventory and update as needed.
- Partner with production, shipping, and receiving to resolve production discrepancies.
- Oversee and track inventory changes.
- Maintain satisfactory attendance, including timeliness.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or state-issued equivalency certificate and one (1) year of inventory, production, or department coordinator experience.
- Ability to develop productive, collaborative working relationships across departments and with customers.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read, comprehend, interpret, and execute simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; intermediate proficiency in MS Outlook.
- Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to walk throughout warehouses and multiple buildings and work in environments with exposure to dust, hot and cold temperatures, and occasional loud noise.
Pay
The pay for this role in the state of CA is $16.90 per hour and is based on the position responsibilities and geographic location.
