About the role
Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., makers of Yellawood brand Pressure Treated Pine, is seeking an Inventory Cycle Counter.
Responsibilities
- Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Performs cycle counts as scheduled effectively and accurately in a timely manner.
- Maintains inventory of shipping materials and plant supplies for monthly reconciliation.
- Monitors inventory levels and stock rotations on all items to ensure materials are equally distributed.
- Creates and maintains treating lists for production/warehouse needs and demands.
- Examine material for proper identification and labeling.
- Maintains stock levels to not impede traffic flow or create hazards.
- Affords assistance in stacking lumber or moving products by hand as needed.
