Inventory Cycle Counter

About the role

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. Shift: Fixed day shift.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe work behaviors and look out for hazards
• Perform cycle counts in the warehouse, production areas, and off-site storage areas
• Accurately scan and verify loads
• Meter and prepare packages to ship all packages for shipping carriers or courier services, including secured and hazardous materials
• Operate fork trucks and scissor lifts and perform work on elevated platforms up to 30 feet high
• Perform material handling work as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (completed before the start date)
• Ability to work 8 to 12-hour shifts and overtime as required
• Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, or merchandising
• Reliable transportation to Menomonie, WI (54751), or relocation before starting

Qualifications

• Basic computer, scanning, and data entry skills
• Attention to detail
• Experience operating Powered Industrial Vehicles safely
• Experience performing cycle counts and maintaining inventory accuracy
• Ability to work comfortably at elevated heights
• Self-motivated, dependable, and team-oriented work style
• Ability to safely handle packages and materials throughout the shift

Pay

$22.78 per hour, starting rate of pay ranges from $22.14 to $27.61. Pay increases throughout the first year as you learn new tasks and take on more responsibility.
