INVENTORY CONTROLLER 1st Shift / CONTROLADOR DE INVENTARIO 1er Turno

Manage inventory records by checking inventory of each part on a three-month rotation, locate and retrieve parts for employees, and update the Visual software system.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; previous AKG experience preferred
• Must be available and able to work the agreed shift
• Able to use various computer programs
• Able to organize inventory paperwork
• Able to use a ladder
• Basic math and ability to use/understand measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Use SAP to update inventory records
• Assist employees in locating parts using SAP to check location and quantities
• Maintain a spreadsheet comparing actual vs. required inventory
• Generate regular reports to support timely product arrival and inventory accuracy
• Physically verify inventory every 3 months
• Stay familiar with all parts used in assembly
• Respond to inventory inquiries (email or verbal)
• Report issues to Supervisor or appropriate team member
• Follow all AKG EMS policies and procedures
• Regular attendance is required
• Run daily Kanban reports
• Confirm space availability in Location 560 (Weld) before warehouse transfers

Physical Demands

• Sit (25%) and walk (75%); may bend, push, pull, twist
• Lift up to 30 lbs (75% of the time)
• Use pallet jack and ladder
• Use PPE (steel toe shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection)
