Inventory Control Technician

About the role

ANG SIGNAL is seeking an Inventory Control Technician to support a federal customer deploying IT assets nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Aid the Federal Property Custodian in maintaining current custodial records for all accountable personal property within their assigned area.
• Compile and submit reports about personal property, and create and maintain receipts, records, and inventory.
• Install IT equipment in the Staging Area, connect devices via Console and network cabling, and provide hands-on support to the engineering team.
• Work with the Logistics team to obtain and track SIM cards, install them in Out-Of-Bound network devices, and conduct biannual and ad hoc audits of inventory.
• Assemble equipment upon arrival, package devices for storage, and keep the logistics room organized and orderly.
• Attend logistics meetings, provide status updates on logistics tickets, and prioritize work as directed by Project Managers and Federal Staff.
• Prepare shipments for customer projects, including boxing materials, measuring and weighing boxes, applying labels, and arranging for shipment pick-up. Conduct video reviews of shipments as required by the Project Management and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working with Smartsheet is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience working in a government environment is preferred.
• Experience with Sunflower is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, personal drive, and ability to execute projects in a matrixed environment.
• Possesses strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
