About the role
At Allied Beverage Group, the Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for maintaining and auditing the inventory control program, including reviewing inventory moves, generating associated metrics, and addressing inventory concerns.
Responsibilities
- Communication: Strong written and oral communication abilities; interact with frontline employees, managerial staff, and partners across 3 shifts; generate readable and coherent metrics; understand customer satisfaction and fill rate.
- Process Improvement: Detail-oriented problem-solving with critical thinking and time management skills; work independently and in teams; analyze data and generate reports using Microsoft Excel; identify operational gaps based on inventory accuracy trends.
- Operational Excellence: Familiarity with all aspects of operations; experience in an automated warehouse or production facility preferred; familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems and ERP systems; understand metrics for storage and retrieval of inventory; accountability for how inventory affects operations.
- Results Orientation: Knowledge of warehouse processes across functions; coordinate activities in warehousing operations; business acumen and understanding of customer and large SKU base operations; commitment to excellent customer service through fulfillment.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- College degree related to Engineering, Science, or Supply Chain preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience within a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Experience in an automated warehouse preferred.
- Lean or Six Sigma Certification preferred.
- Experience working with WMS and ERP systems.
- Experience working in a union environment preferred.
- Functional system understanding of Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work non-traditional business hours including evenings, nights, and weekends when required.
- Strong communication skills—verbal, presentation, and writing.
Pay
The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000, depending on qualifications such as experience, education, and skillset.
