About the role

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cycle counts of raw materials and WIP
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through timely transaction review and reconciliation
  • Support annual physical inventory activities and audit preparation
  • Monitor inventory locations and ensure materials are properly identified, labeled, and stored
  • Issue raw materials to production jobs in accordance with work orders and production schedules
  • Review and validate inventory transactions for accuracy, including receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, and returns
  • Support kitting activities by ensuring required materials are available and staged for shipping
  • Develop and recommend process enhancements to improve inventory accuracy, material flow, and operational efficiency
  • Work closely with Production, Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, and Quality departments to support operational requirements

Qualifications

  • Office Suite, Facilities management software
  • Outlook, Teams, Microsoft Excel
  • Manufacturing 2 years
  • Licenses or certifications not specified
  • Lean Manufacturing/Warehouse environment ERP system experience
  • Jobboss2 experience a plus
  • Raw Materials Verbal and written communication skills/Interpersonal relationships
  • Attention to detail
  • 2-5 years inventory management
