Inventory Control Specialist - Janus

About the role

Responsible for monitoring and maintaining acceptable levels of inventory.

Responsibilities

• Direct cycle counts, physical inventories, inventory accuracy, inventory control, and related improvements, including the development of programs and audits.
• Identify root causes of inventory discrepancies and create and implement corrective action plans that may include systems, people, and/or processes.
• Analyze inventory variance and exception reports to monitor inventory data and procedures to ensure accuracy and quality of inventory within the facility.
• Place tags and labels on inventory stock and at their storage locations.
• Prepare reports of inventory balances as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and coordinate with team members and other internal departments of the organization.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Proficient computer skills required (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, ERP).
• Outgoing, self-starter with great interpersonal and communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bi-lingual preferred.
• Must occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
• Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, and bend.
