About the role
Responsible for monitoring and maintaining acceptable levels of inventory.
Responsibilities
- Direct cycle counts, physical inventories, inventory accuracy, inventory control, and related improvements, including the development of programs and audits.
- Identify root causes of inventory discrepancies and create and implement corrective action plans that may include systems, people, and/or processes.
- Analyze inventory variance and exception reports to monitor inventory data and procedures to ensure accuracy and quality of inventory within the facility.
- Place tags and labels on inventory stock and at their storage locations.
- Prepare reports of inventory balances as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service and coordinate with team members and other internal departments of the organization.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Proficient computer skills required (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, ERP).
- Outgoing, self-starter with great interpersonal and communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bi-lingual preferred.
- Must occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
- Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, and bend.
