Key Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform regular physical counts (i.e. cycle and full) of inventory.
- Check actual stock against computerized records.
- Report discrepancies to superiors.
- Rotate stock as necessary.
- Report any stock issues or discrepancies to management.
- Supporting Inventory Management:
- Conduct daily inventory analysis to solve inventory issues.
- Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures.
- Regularly update inventory system and database.
- Generate regular inventory reports (e.g., for stock levels, costs, deliveries).
Job Qualifications & Requirements
- Ensure timely and accurate receipt of incoming shipments.
- Coordination with Other Departments:
- Work closely with purchasing department to ensure that stock levels are appropriate.
- Liaise with sales staff to ensure necessary stock levels are maintained.
- Auxiliary the shipping department in finding products in the warehouse.
System Maintenance
- Use inventory management software to track goods and reorder products.
- Auxiliary in the installation, maintenance, and training processes of new software or hardware related to inventory control.
