Inventory Control Specialist I - OVERNIGHT 3am - 12pm M-F

Key Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform regular physical counts (i.e. cycle and full) of inventory.
  • Check actual stock against computerized records.
  • Report discrepancies to superiors.
  • Rotate stock as necessary.
  • Report any stock issues or discrepancies to management.
  • Supporting Inventory Management:
    • Conduct daily inventory analysis to solve inventory issues.
    • Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures.
    • Regularly update inventory system and database.
    • Generate regular inventory reports (e.g., for stock levels, costs, deliveries).

Job Qualifications & Requirements

  • Ensure timely and accurate receipt of incoming shipments.
  • Coordination with Other Departments:
    • Work closely with purchasing department to ensure that stock levels are appropriate.
    • Liaise with sales staff to ensure necessary stock levels are maintained.
    • Auxiliary the shipping department in finding products in the warehouse.

System Maintenance

  • Use inventory management software to track goods and reorder products.
  • Auxiliary in the installation, maintenance, and training processes of new software or hardware related to inventory control.
