Inventory Control Specialist - Headworks International, Inc.

Position Summary

Essential Functions

• Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, components, work-in-process, and finished goods
• Monitor inventory levels and movements using computerized inventory control systems
• Perform regular cycle counts and coordinate periodic physical inventory audits
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, variances, and adjustments
• Ensure inventory transactions are properly recorded, including receipts, transfers, issues, and returns
• Coincide with manufacturing, logistics, and warehouse personnel to ensure inventory accuracy and traceability
• Generate inventory reports for management as requested
• Support continuous improvement of inventory control processes and procedures
• Ensure inventory practices comply with Headworks' ISO, quality, and safety standards
• Aid with setup and maintenance of inventory items and system parameters
• Support shipping and receiving activities as needed to verify inventory accuracy
• Maintain organized and accurate inventory storage areas
• Adapt to changing schedules and operational priorities as required

Requirements

• Strong computer skills, including Excel and inventory management systems
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to analyze data and identify discrepancies or trends
• Working knowledge of manufacturing or warehouse environments
• Technical experience with accounting, MRP software preferred
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent minimum
• Associate's degree or higher preferred
• 3+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or manufacturing support
