About the Role

As an Inventory Control Associate, you will monitor and maintain the integrity of warehouse inventory and storage locations through analysis, reporting, and item/material master audit/input. The role focuses on resolving NIL (Not In Location) issues in real time, correcting inventory variances, and ensuring the right parts are in the right location at the right time to meet customer demand and financial (SOX) compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and complete the cycle count process.
  • Reconcile inventory differences and identify root causes.
  • Maintain accuracy of items and material master records.
  • Identify irregularities in daily operational processes that create inventory issues.
  • Assist with cycle counting and process audits.
  • Resolve NIL (Not In Location) issues in real time.
  • Research and resolve problem parts brought to the Penalty Box/Hospital Cart.
  • Provide timely and appropriate reporting of requested metrics and KPIs.
  • Support replenishment activities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and 5S initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/management team.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of distribution or manufacturing experience.
  • 1 year of Inventory Control experience preferred.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing initiatives preferred.
  • 1 year of SAP experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Equipment experience or willingness to learn.
