Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts according to established schedules.
- Conduct location audits and verify inventory accuracy throughout the warehouse.
- Research and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, overages, and location errors.
- Assist with physical inventory counts and annual inventory audits.
- Maintain inventory files, records, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with Shipping, Receiving, Purchasing, and Production teams to resolve inventory issues.
- Verify proper product labeling, storage, and inventory location assignments.
- Aid in product movement and inventory organization activities as needed.
- Ensure inventory is stored according to company procedures and best practices.
- Support implementation of inventory control processes and improvements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of inventory control, inventory clerk, warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience preferred.
- Experience with ERP or inventory management systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse environments.
- Experience with cycle counting and inventory auditing processes.
- Working knowledge of inventory control principles and best practices.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Experience with barcode scanning and RF devices.
- Knowledge of inventory control methods and principles.
