About the Role

As the Inventory Control Specialist, you will maintain accurate data pertaining to Insomniac's warehouse inventory. This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of inventory data, properly adding items into the inventory system, and implementing efficient control procedures. This is crucial in ensuring that the inventory valuation remains precise across all the company's departments and locations. You will work in close collaboration with the Inventory Control Manager and Admin to ensure seamless communication and efficient management of all inventory-related matters.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure any and all items are added into the R2 inventory system.
  • Review items to make sure they are properly tagged with legible bar codes and replace as needed to ensure everything is properly tracked.
  • Run inventory audits as requested per Inventory Manager.
  • Ensure all items are located properly.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Inventory experience required.
  • Warehouse experience required.
  • Must be forklift certified with one year of experience.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft, Mac, and Google operating systems.
  • Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be able to think through, evaluate, and solve problems logically and efficiently.
  • Must have exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Work Environment

  • Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels and busy environments.
  • May work in drastic temperature climates.
  • Must be willing to work during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
  • Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs of force frequently, and a negligible amount of force regularly to move objects, including overhead lifting.
  • Visual acuity required for activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection involving small parts/details.

Pay

Pay Rate Range: $22.00 USD - $27.00 USD
