Inventory Control Specialist

About the role

Certco, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our warehouse team in Madison, WI. In this role, you'll manage perpetual inventory, complete cycle counts, monitor product dating, perform recall checks, and process customer returns—all while working independently at your own pace to meet daily goals. You'll also utilize state-of-the-art Cubiscan technology to process new product entries, helping maintain inventory accuracy and operational efficiency across our distribution network.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Count pick slots
• Account for product and dates on product daily
• Identify recalls and inform appropriate personnel
• Respond to buyers' inquiries about product
• Handle any returned items
• Cubiscanning
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications

• Knowledge of warehouse Inventory Control duties
• Knowledge of and skill in using computer software, including MS Word and Excel
• Skill in operating various office equipment, such as personal computer, calculator, fax and copy machine
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously
• Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers and business contacts in a courteous and professional manner
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent math skills
• Inventory Control experience a plus
