Inventory Control Specialist

Join Cardinal as our Inventory Control Specialist and help keep our technicians equipped, our warehouse organized, and our customers taken care of. The Inventory Control Specialist manages inventory accuracy and material flow across Cardinal's warehouse and vehicle stock, ensuring technicians have the parts and equipment they need when they need them.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory counts and perform cycle counts
• Restock and organize warehouse and truck stock
• Track equipment and tool assignments
• Coordinate with vendors on orders and returns
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Maintain inventory management software and records
• Support purchasing with reorder recommendations
• Ensure warehouse safety and organization standards are met
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Proficiency with inventory management or ERP software
• Strong organizational skills
• Accurate basic math and data entry
• Forklift operation, or willingness to become certified
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• 1+ years of inventory or warehouse experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be physically able to lift, lower, push, and pull objects of up to 50 lbs. unassisted
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to climb ladders and use a pallet jack or forklift
• Ability to work in variable warehouse temperatures
