Inventory Control Manager

About the role

The Inventory Control Manager at WCI is a critical position within the Operations/Supply Chain department. This role oversees all aspects of inventory management, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with business goals. The manager leads the inventory control team, develops robust processes, coaches and mentors team members, and collaborates cross-functionally to maintain optimal stock levels across the supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and maximize ROI.

• Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, and replenishment cycles across warehouse, retail locations, and online platforms.

• Lead periodic and annual physical inventory counts; investigate and resolve discrepancies.

• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with buying, merchandising, and logistics teams to forecast demand and consistently meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of inventory management experience, preferably in the fashion or retail sector.

• Proven leadership experience with a track record of coaching and developing teams.

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management and POS systems.

• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
