Job Summary

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Aid in monitoring department performance and ensuring optimal operation.
  • Utilize existing procedures or suggest improvements as needed.
  • Drive for the shortest processing times on all received materials and continuously enhance performance.
  • Recommend overtime or other recovery methods as necessary.
  • Affirm that all tools, equipment, and visual aids are in proper working condition and up-to-date.
  • Provide frequent and accurate feedback to the Inventory Control and Quality departments and assist with related problems.
  • Interface with departmental supervisors, support functions, engineering, program management, and other relevant plant operations functions.
  • Ensure accuracy of document records for shipping, receiving, and stockroom activities.
  • Verify the age of materials in receiving and shipping areas and ensure their accuracy.
  • Ensure the production line receives the correct components for manufacturing.
  • Stock materials promptly and accurately.
  • Eliminate errors that could affect performance in terms of quality, budget, and efficiency.
  • Identify both strengths and weaknesses of team members for Inventory Control supervisors.
  • Comply with all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position.
  • Follow all procedures outlined in the company's security policy.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
