Inventory Control Equipment Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Verify bin level accuracy of inventory and quantity within specified locations.
• Rotate stock as needed to ensure FIFO (first in, first out) rules are utilized.
• Maintain clean and organized bin locations.
• Aid with product storage profiling projects.
• Participate in picking, packing, and shipping as needed.
• Provide material handling assistance as needed.
• Partake in overall housekeeping of distribution center including cleaning, organizing, dusting, sweeping, etc.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Powerful industrial truck (PIT) license, including stock picker, walkie-rider, and reach truck certification.

Skills & Abilities

• Effective communication with leadership, managers, leads, and peers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other job-related equipment and software.
• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Willingness to participate in Company designated training.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision/guidance.
• Ability to practice safe work habits.

Physical Demands

• Sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and using hands continuously for eight hours.
• Lifting/moving up to 50 pounds and occasionally with assistance lifting/moving up to 100 pounds.
• Frequent work time beyond an eight-hour shift/40-hour week including shift rotation and weekends.
• Operation of basic office equipment.
