Inventory Control/Cycle Counter

About the role

You will control inventory at the Mountain Home Plant by counting materials and comparing them to inventory reports. This position involves investigating and performing root cause problem solving on discrepancies found in cycle counts. You will report to the Supply Chain Manager and work a 1st Shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment and use proper safety devices as provided.
• Contribute to our Zero Incident Safety Culture by abiding by and actively promoting all facility safety guidelines and quality procedures, in addition to any department-specific tasks.
• Perform cycle counts daily per work instructions.
• Perform root cause investigation and implement corrective actions to address inventory discrepancies.
• Employ continuous improvement framework to improve inventory accuracy and reduce instances of non-compliance.
• Summarize and report root cause code data monthly to the site Supply Chain Manager and Controller.
• Keep work area clean and free of hazards – maintains 5S housekeeping standards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED from an Accredited Institution.
• Two (2) years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• MRP/ERP experience.
• Ability to drive a forklift.
• Must be able to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
