About the role

The Inventory Control Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing and communicating field/distributor inventory, ensuring optimal levels and protecting company assets. This position supports various departmental goals, particularly those focused on enhancing customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Uses inventory systems like SMS, ZSIS, DCS, and FedEx programs to manage inventory, including loaning, receiving, shipping, issuing, and monitoring.
  • Investigates inventory variances and disputed items, collaborating across departments to identify root causes and implement solutions; handles brand rationalization and product recalls.
  • Facilitates the return/exchange of expired or calibrated products between warehouses and field personnel as needed.
  • Generates regular reporting, including ad-hoc reports, and reviews and reconciles missing/late inventory reports daily.
  • Supports communication and administrative functions related to distributor inventory account terminations.
  • Aids in strategic inventory requests and fulfillment, monitors and logs inventory outflows, conducts cycle counts, and coordinates with sales and operations for asset placement and recovery.

Requirements

  • Computer literacy with intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external personnel.
  • Results-oriented with strong teamwork skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning and problem-solving.
  • Organized and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Physical requirements: frequent lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, and heavy lifting.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent, or equivalent experience.
  • One to two years’ experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
  • Experience with inventory control practices and data analysis is preferred.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule
