Inventory Control Coordinator

About the role

The Inventory Control Coordinator at High Steel Structures is responsible for administering and performing a wide variety of duties related to raw material inventory, semi-finished goods, completed goods and system upkeep. This role works with internal and external customers to ensure inventory demands are met. They identify and resolve issues related to material flow and manage system updates or bar-coding processes. Collaboration with peers and other levels of management on SAP and other subject-related matters is also required.

Responsibilities

• Administer and perform duties related to raw material inventory, semi-finished goods, and completed goods
• Work with internal and external customers to ensure inventory demands are met
• Identify and resolve issues related to material flow
• Manage system updates or bar-coding processes
• Collaborate with peers and other levels of management on SAP and other subject-related matters

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred
• High school diploma required
• 3-5 years purchasing and operations-support experience
• 3-5 years experience in steel or related manufacturing process
• Previous experience using SAP and inventory control management systems or any ERP/MRP system
• Basic MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
• Strong time management, problem-solving and communication skills
