The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of ingredients, packaging materials, and finished goods inventory. This role manages cycle counting, inventory reporting, and adjustments, while supporting FIFO/FEFO and FSQ compliance. The coordinator serves as a key resource for investigating inventory discrepancies, resolving production and inventory errors, and assisting cross-functional teams with material and system-related requests.

What You'll Do
- Own the management and accuracy of ingredient, packaging material, and/or finished goods inventory.
- Spend regular time in warehouse and production areas to validate physical inventory, support cycle counts, and ensure system-to-floor alignment.
- Cook material transfers with internal operations and external warehouse partners.
- Support FIFO / FEFO practices, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with Food Safety and Quality (FSQ) requirements.
- Perform routine cycle counts and maintain inventory integrity.
- Assist with fiscal year-end inventory audits.
- Investigate inventory errors and discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain strong cross-functional partnerships with Production, FSQ, Procurement, Customer Service, and other departments as needed.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Ross ERP, Savannah, TraceGains, and related systems.
- Complete daily production entries and/or batch issuing activities.
- Monitor, review, and close jobs within Ross ERP as required.
- Support loss, waste, and inventory variance analysis initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with and ensure adherence to all safety standards and with applicable regulatory requirements while following the company’s Good Manufacturing Practices and that required competencies to carry out these job functions affecting product legality, safety and quality are met in accordance with the Quality Policy and Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standard.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Previous forklift experience required.
- Ability to support warehouse and inventory functions within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Windows, Word, Excel) and warehouse/inventory management systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Demonstrated ability to work respectfully and effectively with diverse teams while promoting an inclusive work environment.
