Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Document and enter all new items into the WMS system as well as keep the system up to date with any changes to existing items.
  • Validate all entered data is accurate e.g. length/width/height and cube.
  • Perform cycle counts on products and compare against the system.
  • Verify proper rotation (FIFO) on all items in storage.
  • Verify all items are stored in the proper temperature zone.
  • Create and/or run inventory control reports to be used as part of the metrics review on a weekly basis.

Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to successfully manage concurrent projects, multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Dependable and organized.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications.
  • Knowledge of WMS and /or ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and comply with strict time frames and deadlines.
  • Strong communication capabilities (verbal, written, and comprehension).

Skills And Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years' experience in logistics or inventory control.
  • Bilingual: Spanish and English.

Physical Demands And Work Conditions

  • This role works in a distribution center environment and is typically subject to:
  • Exposure to extreme temperature changes, moisture, noise, odors, and moving equipment.
  • Running forklifts or pallet jacks on occasion.
  • Lifting, pushing, pulling, and/or carrying up to 75 lbs.
