Inventory Control Clerk - Monday thru Friday 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Location: Four Oaks, NJ • Duration: 6 months • Employment Type: Contract on W2 (US Citizens, GC Holders, GC EAD, OPT, EAD, or CPT only)

About the role

This is a climate-controlled manufacturing environment. Steel-toe or composite-toe shoes are required. Candidates with prior inventory-clerk experience in a manufacturing setting will receive first preference.

Pay

$19.25/hr

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 2:30 p.m.–10:30 p.m. (40 hours/week)
• Must be flexible to work weekends when requested by the hiring manager due to business needs; no exceptions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing material transactions (receiving, shipping, transferring, and counting of raw materials and finished goods), including generating reports from the ERP system as needed.
• Reconcile any discrepancies between perpetual inventory records and actual physical counts.
• Conduct periodic cycle counts as directed by management to ensure system integrity.
• Assist in investigating anomalies found during daily activities or cycle counts.
• Coordinate the destruction of obsolete, excess, or otherwise unusable materials as directed by management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 6 months of forklift experience required.
• Strong math skills and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to read/write English-language documentation required.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes preferred.
