Inventory Control Clerk II/Driver

About the role

This role is a valuable part of Roche's Materials Management and Warehousing team, committed to delivering innovative diagnostic solutions to patients. Key responsibilities include collaborating with Production, Quality, R&D, and Supply Chain to ensure the seamless, safe, and accurate flow of materials.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials between local warehouses and manage Kanban stock levels
• Stage and prepare materials for production work orders
• Execute transactions in the ERP system for issued and returned items
• Maintain inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Monitor and replenish Kanban levels across all facilities
• Operate material handling equipment safely and adhere to SOPs, GMP, and SOX guidelines
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations for hazardous and infectious substances

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Four (4) years of experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment
• Current, valid California driver’s license, auto insurance, and clean driving record

Qualifications

• Strong technical warehouse skills, including ERP, intermediate computer skills, and familiarity with BOMs, JIT, and FIFO concepts
• Excellent problem-solving and mathematical abilities
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of $39,500 - $62,040 annually, with potential for a discretionary annual bonus based on individual and company performance. Additional benefits are available upon joining the Roche Group.
