About the role
The Inventory Control Clerk supports branch parts department sales and operational functions within Parts Admin, reflecting Wagner's vision of being "One Professional Team." This is an entry-level position within Inventory Control.
Responsibilities
- Answering department emails, Skype messages, and phones to support branches
- Aids in the distribution of computer-generated reports and daily mail
- Prepares Barometer for Caterpillar monthly
- Filing discrepancy claims with vendors and ensuring accurate claim settlements
- Preparing Caterpillar and management reports
- Placing novelty orders
- Preparing miscellaneous reports and graphs as required
- Approving invoices as required
- Providing back-up for various inventory control procedures
- Supporting other department clerical functions
- Managing ARM funnel
- Ordering Cat literature
- Preparing monthly barometer and KPI reports
- Verifying manual inventory changes
- Performing other duties as assigned by manager
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years administrative/clerical experience
- 1+ years customer service experience
- 1+ years technical or mechanical experience
- 1+ years prior experience in a data-entry environment
- Prior experience in a parts department preferred

- Sedentary work involving sitting/standing but may require occasional lifting/moving up to 25 pounds
- Data Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication, and math skills
- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing but may require occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
- Ten-key and typing skills preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of DBS
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook

Pay
Pay rate: $19.27 - $27.63 hourly. Pay rate is dependent upon education & experience.
