About the Role
Responsible for the coordination and verification of inventory in the warehouse, ensuring inventory accuracy to the day's divisional needs during their designated shift. This includes guiding, training, and leading the inventory team to ensure accurate and timely processing of divisional manufacturing ingredients.
Responsibilities
- Ensure inventory accuracy within the department and handle all inventory transactions required throughout the shift.
- Verify departmental Allergen guidelines are followed and ensure integrity of containment (IOC) of all ingredients throughout the material handling process.
- Ensure the accuracy of lot numbers and movements of materials in the system.
- Lead, train, and create a positive work environment for the inventory team.
- Complete investigations into inventory issues and manage the Cycle Count Program.
- Identify and communicate shortages.
- Adhere to all corporate GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), established SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and Food Safety policies.
- Adhere to all Allergen control programs and procedures.
- Report suspicious packages, activities, and individuals.
- If monitoring CCPs (Critical Control Points), must be trained in HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and adhere to approved HACCP plan(s).
- Own, lead, and develop your area of responsibility with 100% adherence to all recipe designs and company GMPs/SOPs; no deviations allowed.
- Update Supervisor on efficiencies and any hindrances to the process; offer recommendations and solutions.
- Utilize designated paperwork/systems to track, verify, and adjust efficiencies, and be prepared to explain successes and opportunities.
- Track and verify ingredient inventories using designated systems.
- Responsible for the disposition of product put “on hold” or deemed “waste” due to department error or inefficiencies.
