Inventory Control Associate

Audits inventory to keep systems in balance during daily order processing.

Researches and resolves all key issues, adjustments, and discrepancies, ensuring compliance with established internal control procedures.

Maintains inventory accuracy, completes follow-up to all previous inventory adjustments, and reviews cycle counts.

Maintains time control tables consistent with base tables, keys, and reviews allocations.

Receives products from vendors to check for quality and communicates potential quality issues to buyers.

Maintains quality control and inventory control manuals.

Maintains a safe work environment by following safety policies, conducting inspections, and promoting best practices.

Nature and Scope

Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.

Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques.

Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor.

Work Environment

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area.
  • Frequent opportunity to move about.
  • Rarely requires moving or lifting light articles.
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Education And Experience

  • HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
  • Specialized skills training/certification may be required.
  • Generally 2-5 years of experience in area of responsibility.
