Inventory Control Associate
About the role
We are seeking Inventory Control Associate to join IQVIA Laboratories at Valencia, CA.
Responsibilities
- Collect deliveries from the loading bay, inspect and log receipts, and store or distribute materials as required
- Record stock movements and stock issues in inventory control systems
- Maintain organized shelves and storage areas and rotate stock in appropriate date order
- Liaise with internal customers, suppliers, Purchasing, and Finance to resolve stock-related issues including price variances, non-receipts, and item documentation requests
- Conduct daily and weekly reporting and provide inventory dispositions
- Monitor study stock to support short-dated procedures and communicate material shortages to Project Managers and Set Up managers
- Stock the pre-assembly area and pick and issue internal material requisitions for all areas
- Participate in stock cycle counts and provide coverage for other stock controllers as needed
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of related experience
- Familiarity or experience with using a forklift is a plus
- Good computer knowledge and data entry skills
- Ability to operate inventory control systems and other appropriate systems to facilitate stock processing duties
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Good communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, and clients
- Ability to safely operate truck and warehouse equipment
- Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry and inventory recordkeeping
- Ability to follow department SOPs and support inventory activities in a regulated laboratory environment

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $25,800.00 - $53,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
