Inventory Control Associate

Responsibilities

• Perform regularly scheduled cycle counts by location, product number, and description.
• Count, verify, and sort inventory.
• Monitor inventory daily and conduct scheduled audits to ensure accuracy.
• Troubleshoot daily inventory control issues and reconcile any inventory variances.
• Make inventory adjustments, transfers, and transactions as needed.
• Analyze the warehouse layout, procedures, and systems in place, and recommend changes to maximize slotting efficiency.
• Review and work Inventory Control KACE Ticket queue, including OSP pulls, item audits, product switches, Showroom pulls, and other requests.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly appearance in the work area.
• Alert management of potential safety problems or violations in the DCAble to lift 30 lbs.
• Operate MHE as required to fulfill department tasks.

Requirements

• High integrity and professionalism
• Basic knowledge of RF Technology
• Willingness to be Material Handling Equipment certified and operate equipment
• Computer knowledge to include proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• The ability to learn GALLS’ internal systems (Mocha and GQ)
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to understand and follow detailed written or verbal instructions
• Performance history of quality-conscious work, good attendance, and safe work habits
• Must be responsible, enthusiastic, trustworthy, and able to multitask and work with minimal supervision
• Able to work overtime or varied hours per business need
• Read and write in English
• Ability to take initiative

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in inventory control or similar field preferred
• Knowledge of material handling equipment and operations
