ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze inventory levels, turnover, demand trends, and stock movement to identify risks and opportunities
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to balance service levels, carrying costs, and obsolescence
- Develop and monitor inventory forecasts based on historical data, seasonality, and business plans
- Investigate inventory variances, discrepancies, and root causes; recommend corrective actions
- Support cycle counts and physical inventories; reconcile differences in inventory systems
- Generate regular inventory reports, dashboards, and KPIs for management and customer
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, sales, customer, and operations teams to align supply and demand
- Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or excess inventory and propose disposition strategies
- Improve inventory processes, controls, and data accuracy through continuous improvement initiatives
- Support ERP and inventory management systems, including data validation and system updates
Qualifications
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 2–5 years of experience in inventory analysis, supply chain, or demand planning; or equivalent combination of education and experience
