Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze inventory data to identify discrepancies, trends, and systemic issues
- Investigate root causes of variances between physical inventory and ERP records
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs to track inventory performance
- Perform reconciliation analysis and recommend corrective actions
- Evaluate inventory processes and identify gaps, particularly related to manufacturing stock integration
- Establish and refine inventory control procedures to improve accuracy and consistency
- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventative actions
- Drive standardization of inventory-related data and transaction processes
- Act as a liaison between operations and ERP/system teams for inventory-related issues
- Ensure proper use and accuracy of inventory transactions within ERP/MRP systems
- Support system enhancements, testing, and process improvements related to inventory
- Support cycle count programs by analyzing results and identifying recurring discrepancies
- Assist with internal audits and ensure compliance with inventory control standards
- Provide insight and analysis on discrepancies rather than performing routine counts
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in inventory analysis, supply chain analytics, or data analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Epicor, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Experience analyzing inventory in manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Understanding of inventory control principles, costing, and reconciliation processes
